Clinical Research of Gastonia

Clinical Research of Gastonia

At Clinical Research of Gastonia, we have three Physicians dedicated to our clinical trials, with their private practice located across the parking lot. Our building is a 3,500 square foot stand alone medical office space and is located next to the Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Clinical Research of Gastonia (CRG) was founded March 2015, is owned by Selwyn Spangenthal, MD and operates under the American Health Research Network. The benefit to the pharmaceutical sponsors is that CRG offers an expedited start-up process by centralizing contract and budget processing at American Health Research. CRG has a quick turn-around time on processing regulatory documents and utilizes a Central IRB.

Our facility includes:

  • -20 freezer
  • Echocardiograms
  • Spirometry
  • Secure study drug closet
  • Large Patient Database
  • On site lab with ambient centrifuge
  • Refrigerator for specimens/drugs
  • 7 patient exam rooms
  • Local Lab and X-ray service availability
  • WIFI
  • Cable Television in patient rooms
